Angel Tree

December Webb SOCS

We have a special opportunity to provide gifts to underprivileged kids in our community who would otherwise not receive a gift. It is easy to participate! At Webb Orthodontics, we have a Christmas tree where we have hung gift tags to represent each child in need. On these tags, we have listed their name, age and a few items from their wish list. Please take as many tags as you would like and shop for the items listed. Gifts need to be delivered back to Webb Orthodontics by December 11th to ensure CAPWN will have time to deliver each gift before Christmas.

If you have more questions concerning this event, please feel free to call us at 630-0670. You may also find the following information from CAPWN interesting:

Our Holiday Food & Gift Program has been ongoing for at least 30 years.  Families who are needing a little extra assistance for the holidays can come in and apply beginning each year on October 1st and continuing thru until the Friday before Thanksgiving.  During the application process, each family is required to bring proof of all household income to ensure they are eligible within our income guidelines.  During that time then a variety of organizations, churches, civic clubs, businesses, individual families, etc will contact us for names of either a family, families, and/or children to provide either food, gifts or both to those that have come in and submitted their applications.

CAPWN acts as the clearinghouse for the community in order to be able to assist as many families as possible as well as avoiding duplication.  Each family is placed on one list only.  Some donors deliver the food and/or gifts to the families, others such as yourselves, bring them here for us to deliver.  Generally on average we see approximately 350 families during the application period which includes a total of around 1000 children or more.
